Frantisek Zvacek ( March 19, 1905 in Rimov in Moravia - January 9, 1976 in Prague ) painter

He studied under professor Jakub Obrovsky at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague from 1929 to 1933. After a short period of figural work, he devoted himself entirely to landscape painting. Since 1937 he exhibited at the member exhibitions of Umelecka beseda in Prague. He exhibited individually in 1957 in Mohlenice, in 1959 in Prague. His works are represented in the collections of the National Gallery in Prague, the Ministry of Education and Culture.
