Karel Gabriel (October 10, 1891 in Turnov - 1963 in Prague) painter, graphic artist, teacher

He studied at the School of Applied Arts in Prague and at the Ukrainian Academy in Prague with Prof. Kulec and Mako. He taught graphic techniques at the arts. Avg. school in Prague. He liked to draw Prague motifs. In 1944 he was awarded the Purkyne Oil Prize in the autumn.
