Georg Holub ( November 29, 1861 in Brno - April 6, 1919 in Vienna ) painter

He studied at the Academy in Vienna, where in 1891 he exhibited for the first time at the Viennese Annual Exhibition of Landscape Painting - the Theme von der Save. He was the founder of a landscape painter who captured with oil paints or watercolor. He liked painting mountain landscapes from the Eastern Alps in naturalistic concept and color. He stayed in Vienna until his death, where he also exhibited at various Viennese exhibitions, especially in Vienna, local Kunstlerhaus. His works are represented in the Museum of Linz.
