Antonín Kubat ( August 27, 1885 in Ruzyne near Prague - February 21, 1970 ) painter, graphic artist


He studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague ( 1902 - 1904 ), under professors V. Bukovac and H. Schwaiger at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague ( 1904 - 1906 ) and privately in the graphic studio of A. Teschner. He focused on landscape painting, applied and small graphics ( exlibris ) . He was a high school professor in Prerov. Represented among others in the collections of the Museum of Prerov.

1925 - Prague, 1928 - Brno, 1930 - Olomouc, 1933 - 1939 - Namest na Hane.
Collective exhibitions
1919, 1926 - Prerov, exhibition hall Obzor, 1929 - Pardubice.
Prices
1942 - Prize of the Academy of Sciences and Arts in Prague for studies of Hana folklore.
