Oil on canvas 96 x 121 cm. Signed lower left with the date 1920 or 1926. Large representative canvas painted on both sides with figural motifs. By the founder of the Artistic Beseda in Slovakia, one of the creators of the Czechoslovak state emblem and flag of 1918. Original silver and gilt frame 111 x 135 cm. On the front side the subject of bathing naked girls and young men. On the reverse side the subject of a nude young woman, a lying toddler, planting flowers. In the background a man with a spade planting a flowering tree. Similar paintings are in the collection of the Slovak National Gallery entitled : First Grass, Vinobranie pod Devinom.
